后人对于《后汉书》中的“江夏山中”和《三国志》中的“城江夏山”，常常出现误读，导致不同程度的混淆。查阅历代舆地方志，均指称明确：“江夏山”即今武汉东南龙泉山。探讨龙泉山冠以此名的原由、起始年代等相关问题，有助于厘清从“江夏山”、“灵泉山”到“龙泉山”的演迁过程，旨在引证历代记述，清源辨误，去疑发微。

Later generations used to confuse the place of “Jiangxia” in History of the Later Han Dynasty with “Jiangxia Mountain” in History of Three Kingdoms because of some misunderstandings. According to all previous dynasties chorography, it is defined clearly that Jiangxia Mountain is Longquan Mountain in the southeast of Wuhan city. This paper tries to explain a series of questions about the origin and history of Longquan Mountain. It is helpful to clarify the evolution of “Jiangxia Mountain”.
