摘要:
高职院校外语教学改革的四个"性",即公共性、人文性、语言性和衔接性。当前盛行的"职业型"外语教学改革的理念与实践是在更为基础的语言层面上重蹈二十年前"复合型"外语教学改革的覆辙,学科属性模糊,衔接貌似神离。本文质疑这一理念的可行性及其相关的课程体系及教材建设。当前高职院校的"职业型"外语教学模式既无助于专业能力的提高,也有违语言教学的认知规律,阻碍正常语言能力的发展。
Abstract:
This paper discusses the four fundamental aspects of foreign language teaching reform at higher voca— tional colleges———the commonness, humanities, language orientation and the bridging problems, respectively. It points out that the current reform of foreign language for career follows the track of the overthrown composite cultivation model put forward 20 years ago because of the absence of its humanities nature and the loss of its disciplinal status. The paper argues against its feasibility and the idea behind, questioning the relevant course system and textbooks compilation. It concludes that the model of foreign language for career contributes nothing to specialized teaching and learning, and holds back the normal language development.
