摘要:

大学校长职业化是指大学校长作为一种独立职业,而不是一种行政公职,由行政权力本位向职业能力本位转换的过程,是大学校长这一职业标准化、规范化和市场化的过程,其核心是校长这一职业的专业化。实证比较分析得出美国大学校长在学科专业、任职年龄和时长、男女比例等安排上要比国内更加科学合理。探寻中国特色的大学校长职业化之路,要从大学校长的认识、选聘、职业培训、监督、激励与退出制度等方面加以系统安排。

Abstract:

Professionalism of university president is the process of converting orientation from administrative power to the professional competence, taking the position as an independent career, rather than an administrative duty. It is al原 so the process of standardization, specification and marketization of profession of university presidents and its core is occupational specialization. In this paper, from the empirical comparative analysis we can know that the requirements of the educational background and years in position for U.S. university presidents are more scientific and reasonable. To explore the approaches to the professionalism of university presidents suited to the situation in the higher institutions of China, it is necessary to set up systematical recruitment procedure, taking the interview, job training, supervision, in原 centives and exit system into consideration.
