摘要:
全人教育是二十世纪二十年代兴起的一种教育思潮,主张教育要注重人的全面协调发展。 香港大学的“舍堂教育”是全人教育理念导向下的教育实践,通过完善的设施和管理制度、 各具特色的舍堂文化、寓教于乐的舍堂活动,对学生进行德、智、体、美、群等方面的教育。这 一实践对内地高校宿舍改善育人环境、发挥育人功能具有借鉴意义。
Abstract:
Holistic education, a philosophy of education prevailing in 1920s, advocates that education should focus on whole-person development. Hall education, practiced by Hong Kong University, is rightly the manifestation of this educational philosophy. The University provides services and facilities to ensure that students have a comfortable, inter- esting, and rewarding campus experience, and enjoy an overall sense of well-being. The paper believes that this prac- tice is very useful for the university in mainland China to improve living-learning communities and contribute to the intellectual development and global outlook of students.
