摘要:: 为落实2014 年国务院关于发展现代职业教育的精神，湖北省在现有职业教育的基础上，亟待创新职教办学模式，构建现代职教体系；明确职教办学定位，适应社会发展特点；提升职教人才质量，提高职教服务水平；强化政府引领作用，加快职教发展进程。通过规范职业教育发展，科学协调职业教育各层次关系，推动湖北由职教大省向职教强省转变，促进现代职业教育为我省社会发展服务。

Abstract:: To achieve the goal of creating modern vocational education system, the paper argues that the higher vocational colleges in Hubei province need to identify the orientations of vocational education with the social development trend and improve their delivery mechanisms. Meanwhile, they should focus on promoting the quality of graduates as well as the capability of education delivery. Also, it holds that to transform Hubei into a power of vocational education, the local government should regulate management of colleges and concert the relations of vocational institutions of different levels rationally.
