摘要:
作为晚清政坛的风云人物,张之洞在洋务运动后期和清末新政时期,都产生了重大的作用与影响。张之洞在督鄂的十多年里,积极向西方学习,大力采取措施在湖北建立了近代工业、交通、军事和教育,为推动湖北近代化做出了巨大贡献。
Abstract:
As an influential man of the politics in late Qing Dynasty. Zhang Zhi-dong had a major role and influ— ence in the late westernization movement and the New Deal in the late Qing Dynasty period. Zhang Zhi-dong actively learned from the west, took great measures to establish modern industry, transportation, military and education during his more than ten years in Hubei province. He made a great contribution to promote the modernization of Hubei province.
